Richard I. Dillon, 75, of Easley, passed away February 22, 2018.
Born in Gettysburg, PA, he was the son of the late John Francis and Lillian Mary Baker Dillon. The youngest of 14 children, Dick graduated from Gettysburg High School and joined the US Air Force. He retired from the Air National Guard after 42 years of service with the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Surviving are his loving wife, Sylvia Morgan Dillon; his son, Eric Dillon and his wife Pam; his daughter, Tara Painter and her husband, John, all of Easley; three grandchildren, Matthew Christopher Dillon, Pace Bracken Dillon, and Lillian Marie Painter; his brother, John Dillon; and two sisters, Martha Wolfe and Jean Eisenhardt.
Mr. Dillon will lie in state on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 2:00 - 2:45pm at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, with a graveside service following at 3:00pm in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
