Richard Georgina, 76, of 207 Ripple View Drive, died Thursday, March 26, 2009 at the Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca.
Born in Concord, New Hampshire, he was a son of the late Albert and Rocepha Rivers Georgina. He was a veteran of the US Army, and a member of the Carolina Pigeon Club and St. Andrews Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy May Polinsky Georgina of the home; a son, Richard B. Georgina and his wife Ruth of Townville; two daughters, Dianna M. Georgina of Bowling Green, KY, Cheryl M. Georgina of the home; and a granddaughter, Alicia Snyder. In addition to her parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Norman Georgina; and two sisters, Marion Emerson and Winona Ryan.
A memorial service will be 11 AM Saturday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrews Catholic Church Building Fund; 200 Edgewood Avenue; Clemson, SC 29631.
