Mr. Richard Dean Gochneaur, 49, of 458 Tabor Woods Road, Pickens, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015.
Dean was born in Ashtabula, Ohio on December 31, 1965 to Richard and Billie Gochneaur. He loved his job working as a machine operator for the Omnisource Recycling Corporation in Anderson. He loved classic cars and restoring them, and loved the lake, especially fishing.
In addition to his parents, Dean is survived by his significant other; Gina Wilbanks; three sons; Dustin Gochneaur (Jana), of Pickens, Dean Gochneaur of Pickens, and Robert Futrell (Natasha), of Easley; and two daughters; Lani Black of Pickens and Nikki Wilbanks of Central. Dean is also survived by a brother; Jason Gochneaur of Ashtabula, OH; three sisters; Marie Rapose of Ashtabulah, OH; Terrie Gochneaur Swanek of St. Peters, MO; and Patti Veres of Erie, PA; and one grandchild; Maddy Futrell.
A visitation for Dean will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.
A private family graveside and innichment will take place.
