Richard C. Harrison, 92, of 150 Downs Boulevard, Apt. E-205, died Thursday, April 30, 2009 at the Clemson Downs Health Center.
Born in Chicago, IL, he was a Captain in the US Army Air Corp. serving as a B-17 Navigator during WWII, stationed in England. He received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Missouri, and was retired as a retail store fixture designer.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Esther Mae Harrison of the home; a son, Dick Harrison and wife Sandy of Westhills, CA; a daughter, Ellen Harrison of Clemson, SC; a sister, Rozalind Hamlin of Dover, NH; family friend, Judith Walker of Clemson, SC; five grandchildren, Jeff Krolik and wife Linsey, Sonya Krolik, Melissa Jezek and husband Ryan, Laura Carr and husband Nate, Rick Harrison; and four great-grandchildren.
