Richard "Rick" Dana Lawrence, 65, of 119 Hickory Run Drive, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2011, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Lawrence was born in Belmont, NC, a son of the late Cecil Dana and Josephine Barnes Lawrence. He retired from Continental Tire in Charlotte, NC and was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church in Powdersville and the Adventures in Faith Sunday School Class.
Surviving are his wife, Sheila England Lawrence of the home; a daughter, Shannon McQueen and husband, Glenn, of Easley; a brother, Jerry C. Lawrence, of Rock Hill, SC; three granddaughters, Madison McQueen, Abbey McQueen and Emma McQueen, all of Easley.
A memorial service will be 12:00 PM Noon Wednesday at Bethesda United Methodist Church with the Reverend Cy Rogers officiating.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM Wednesday, prior to the service, at the church.
The family is at the home.
