Richard L. Loggins

Richard Luther Loggins, 91, husband of Bernice Loggins, died Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the Oconee Memorial Hospital in Seneca, SC. A native of Central he was the son of the late John H. and Lilly Morse Loggins. He retired from Cannon Mills as the slasher foreman and was a member of East Clemson Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife he is survived by sisters Ida Mae and Lily Mae. He was predeceased by a daughter: Cathy Loggins, sister, Girty Mae and brothers: Talmadge and Dewey Loggins.

Funeral services will be 3pm Thursday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Central. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to one's favorite charity. The family is at the residence, 508 Tarrant St., Central, SC 29630.
