Richard G. Slough, Jr., 43, husband of Kellie Caple Slough, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022.
Born in Greenville, a son of Richard Slough, Sr. and Janice Kellett Slough, he was a loving husband, father, son, and uncle who enjoyed the outdoors, biking, hiking, playing frisbee golf with his friends, and spending time with his family. Richard was employed as a financial navigator for Bon Secours Saint Francis Hospital, and he was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Powdersville.
In addition to his wife and parents , he is survived by a daughter, Anna Beth Slough; a son, Caleb Slough, both of the home; sisters, Amy Anderson (Matt) of Fountain Inn and Mary Slough of Greer; a sister-in-law, Kacie D'Alessandro (Adam) of Lexington, VA; a brother-in-law, Kalen Caple (Danielle) of Spartanburg; nephews, Reid Anderson of Fountain Inn and Marvel Caple of Spartanburg; nieces, Gwendolyn Caple of Spartanburg and Isabella D'Alessandro of Lexington VA; father-in-law, Duane Caple; and mother-in-law, Annette Caple, both of Powdersville.
A private graveside service will be held in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.
The family will also be hosting a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 9813 Anderson Road, Piedmont, SC 29673.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Mount Moriah Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Anna Beth and Caleb's Educational Fund, C/O Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 9813 Anderson Road, Piedmont, SC 29673.
