Rick Dabbs, 55, of Liberty, passed away Friday, April 15, 2011 at his residence.
Born in Poplar Bluff, MO, he was the son of Glenn Edward and Erma Boone Dabbs of Fisk, MO. Rick grew up in Fisk, MO and was a former resident of Osage Beach, MO and New Braunfels, TX. He was a master carpenter and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Rick loved fishing, gardening, hunting and martial arts and he had served in the US Air Force.
Surviving in addition to his parents, are his wife Karen Whyne Dabbs of the home; three daughters, Summer Phillips, Mellissa Braham and Jessica Sweeney; three sons, Marcus Dabbs, Shawn Sweeney and Brenndan Sweeney; one brother, Mark Dabbs; five grandchildren, Lexi Dabbs, Paige Davis, Reagan Dabbs, Makayla Sweeney and Cassidy Mae Braham.
