Rick Rebar

George Rick Rebar, 92, of 175 Ella Drive and husband of Loretta Morgan-Rebar, passed away Wednesday June 12, 2013 at his home. He would have been 93 on July 29, 2013.
Mr. Rebar was born in Portage, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Stephan and Mary K. Rebar, and was raised in Detroit, Michigan. He was a veteran of W.W. II having served in the Army Air Corps and later retired as an Aerospace Engineer. He was a private pilot and loved doing aerobatics. He was a unique and special man who had a passion for life and was genuinely interested in every person he met.
In addition to his wife of 32 years, he is survived by daughters, Renee Rebar and Kim Henry, both of California; a step-daughter, Jacqueline Marinaro (Luke), of California; a step-son, Michael Crook (Marisa), of California; 3 grandchildren, Lorah Rebar Marini, Shawn Henry and Jillian Henry, all of California; 4 step-grandchildren and a former son-in-law, Craig Henry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Rebar.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be 3:00 pm Friday June 14, 2013 in Robinson Memorial Gardens - Veteran's Garden.
Visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
