Rickey Gene Thomas, 61, died Thursday, April 21, 2011 at AnMed Hospital. A life-long resident of Central, he was the son of the late Marion E. and Christine Head Thomas, Sr. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion and the VFW.
He is survived by brother, Marion Thomas, Jr. and his wife Debbie of Central and nieces, Jennifer and Carrie Thomas.
Memorial services will be Monday at 3pm in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kings Grove Baptist Church Youth Fund, 1335 Old Seneca Road, Central, SC 29630.
