Ricky L. Dobbins, 71, of Greenville, husband of the late Jo Ann Ladd Dobbins, passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, February 16, 2023.

Born June 24, 1951, in Greenville, SC, Ricky was a son to the late Marvin and Thelma Dobbins. He enjoyed bowling and was a great family man. He truly enjoyed being with his family; his grandchildren were dear to him. 

He is survived by his three sons, Ben Arnold of Travelers Rest, SC, Freddy Arnold Jr. (Thresa) of Travelers Rest, SC, and Alvin Dwayne of Charleston, SC. He also is survived by his daughter, Janet Bright (Stan) of Greenville, SC as well as nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his two sisters, Joyce Zeagler of Baytown, Tx, Toni Teal (Ken) of Easley, SC.

In addition to his wife and parents, he also is predeceased by two sisters Pat Haynes and Cheryl Nobbitt. 

A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Pickens, SC on Monday, February 20, 2023, at 11:00 AM.
