Robby Dean Morrison

Robby Dean Morrison, 73, of Central, passed away April 8, 2023.

Born in Pickens County, he was the son of the late J.P. and Helen Gillespie Morrison. Robby served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam, where he was awarded the Purple Heart and a Bronze Star. He worked as a welder for Duke Power and J.P. Stevens. Robby enjoyed fishing, Clemson football, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his sons, Joshua Morrison and wife Courtney of Central and Jason Kamerer of Pittsburgh, PA; sister, Gail Whitfield; grandchildren, Naomi, Norah, and Jake.

Robby is predeceased by his parents and a sister, Rebecca Davis.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 14, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be Friday, April 14, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow with military honors at Memory Gardens.
