Robert W. Alford, 87, of Easley, passed away Wednesday, December 01,2010 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Lee County, Alabama, a son of the late Cyril Jason and Olga Bagley Alford, Mr. Alford retired from Georgetown S.C. Board of Education as an assistant superintendent. Mr. Alford was of the Baptist faith and served in the U.S. Navy.
Surviving are his wife, Diana Lee Alford, of Easley; a daughter Robbie Godeke of Evansville, IN.;a sister Mary Lorena Qeen of Tampa, Fl.; one grandchildren Caitlin Elizabeth Cassidy.
No services are planned.
The family are at their respective homes.
