Robert B. Anders, 86, of 105 Old Vinland School Road, husband of the late Sara Katherine Stewart Anders, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011 at McCall Hospice House.

Born October 28, 1924, in Pickens County, a son of the late John Mitchell and Eliza Jane Patton Anders, Mr. Anders was owner of The Corn Crib Store and was of the Baptist faith. He also liked to garden and sell produce to friends and neighbors.

Surviving are three sons, Bobby Dean Anders (Bonnie) of Greenwood, Ronnie Anders of Easley and Samuel "Sonny" Anders (Kathy) of Greer; a daughter, Diane Anders Springs (Marion) of Easley; grandchildren, Ronald Anders, Donnie Anders, David Springs, Michelle Springs Merck, Deborah Springs Wilson, Chris Anders, Cheyanne Anders Petrus and Jason Anders; and sixteen great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Anders was predeceased by six brothers, Wade Anders, Henry Anders, William "Bill" Anders, James L. "Jim" Anders, Ted Anders and Mitchell "Mass" Anders.

Funeral services will be 3:30 PM Sunday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 2:00 until 3:30 PM Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.

The family is at the home of Diane and Marion Springs, 3259 Saluda Dam Road, Easley, SC 29640.
