Robert A. Anderson, 86, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Anderson was born in Griffin, AR, son of the late Cyril and Myrtle Savage Anderson, and husband of the late Bebe K. Coffey Anderson.
He was retired from the U. S. Army and taught special education in Oconee County Schools.
Surviving are two sons, Donald (Lynn) and Robert (Isabel) Anderson of Powdersville; two daughters, Kathryn (Steve) Wilson of Durango CO, and Kari (Ken) Tankersley of Pendleton; nine grandchildren, Sara Askey, Rob, Jonathan, Christopher, Michael, and Andrew Anderson, Alex, Stephanie, and Max Wilson; four great grandchildren, Haley, Ryan, Aieden, and Reese Anderson.
A gathering to celebrate Mr. Anderson's life will be held at a later date.
