Robert Wayne Baker, 51, of 114 Dogwood Ridge Road, died Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at his home.
Born in Glens Falls, NY, a son of Marion Ingraham Baker of Laurens, and the late Guy Baker, Mr. Baker was a facilities manager with Bentley Property Services, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served with the US Navy.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Cathleen Thomas Baker of the home; his son, Wayne Baker; and daughter, Tracie Wendall; grandchildren, Amber, Wayne, Page, Cody, Julia, and Gregory; a brother, Bill Baker; and a sister, Sue Greer.
Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008 at Greenville Unitarian Univeralist Fellowship on State Park Road in Greenville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Robert Wayne Baker Memorial Fund, c/o Robinson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 387, Easley, SC 29641.
The family is at the residence.
