Robert "Bob" Paul Billig, 83, of 110 Lennox Lane, went to be with the Lord Tuesday May 27, 2008 at Hospice of the Upstate in Anderson.
Mr. Billig was born in Berwick, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Joseph Stanley and Effie Hoagland Billig. He retired from American Monorail and also worked for many years at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Greenville. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of W.W. II and a faithful member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Jane Mont Billig, of the home ; a son, Joseph Michael Billig and his wife, Teresa, of Anderson ; a daughter, Deborah Ruthsatz and her husband, Mike, of Anderson ; sisters, Ann Young, of Lancaster, PA. and Fay Whitmire, of Berwick, PA.; and five grandchildren.
