Bob Barrera, 65, husband of Donna Barrera, of Easley, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021.
Born in Kingsville, TX, the son of the late Robert and Eglantina Garza Barrera, he was a proud United States Air Force veteran, devoted husband, a loving father, he loved the Lord; he loved his family and he loved his friends. Bob never knew a stranger, he genuinely loved talking and sharing common interests with anyone he met. Bob had a whacky sense of humor, expressive nature and the uncanny ability to have a "lengthy" story to tell for any topic that was raised.
In addition to his loving wife of 44 years, Bob is survived by his son Derrick (Lacy), granddaughter Kaydee Barrera of Mobile, AL; a daughter Simonie Hansen (Eric), granddaughter Alayna Silva, also of Mobile, AL; a brother, John Barrera (Sharon); nephews Justin and Steven Barrera and a niece Sara Barrera.
A Celebration of Life for Bob will be held Saturday, January 8, 2021, at 11AM at Freedom Church, 304 E Butler Road Mauldin, SC 29662.
Please wear casual attire.
