Robert "Bob" Allen Swisher

Robert "Bob" Allen Swisher, 85, of Anderson, peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026 after a short battle with cancer.

Bob was born in Indianapolis, IN on June 19, 1940 to the late Harold and Mary Ruth Stalling Swisher.

Bob was a graduate of Washington High School in 1958. After graduation, he worked for Typo Printing for 30 years. Not yet ready to retire, he went on to work for Plainfield High School for more than 15 years and retired in 2005. After retirement, Bob enjoyed going out on his pontoon boat and fishing with friends on Lake Hartwell. He will be most remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and his kind and generous heart.

Bob is survived by his three sons, Randy A. Swisher (Hope), Timothy L. Swisher (Tammy), and Terry R. Swisher; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Swisher.

The family will host a private memorial at a later date.
