Robert Miller Bossert, 81, of 105 Dillard Court, husband of Kathleen Huck Bossert, died, Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at his residence.
Born in Oakmont, PA, he was a son of the late James Melvin and Jeanne Kennedy Bossert. Mr. Bossert was drafted into the US Army in 1945, and served in the Occupation Forces in Germany. He was a graduate of Marrietta College and retired from Vanguard Paint. He also attended Easley Presbyterian Church. Mr. Bossert enjoyed woodworking
Surviving are; his wife of the home; sons: David J. Bossert (Katherine) of Easley and Robert N. Bossert of Pensacola, Florida; a daughter, Janet Bond of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a sister, Ethel Holmes of Appollo, PA; and one grandchild, Kelly Marie Bossert.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Norman Bossert.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Friday at Robinson Funeral Home Chapel-Downtown.
The family will receive friends from 9-10 AM Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of ones choice.
