Robert C. "Bob" Childs, 94, widower of Bernadine Jane Dewey Childs, died Friday, March 30, 2018 at his home.
Born in Conneaut, Ohio, he was the son of the late Clifford A. and Elizabeth Halliday Childs. Bob was a retired Self-employed Electrical Products Manufacturer's Representative. He was of the Wesleyan faith and was a US Army Veteran of WWII.
Surviving are sons, Ronald D. Childs of Salem, SC and Robert D. Childs of Seneca; daughter, Janette (Gregory) Gut of Valley City, Ohio; 9 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Bob was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Folliett; and a sister, Betty Gecewich.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, 11 AM, May 12th at Welcome Wesleyan Church.
Inurnment will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Graces Closet (at Welcome Wesleyan Church)
