Robert John "Bob" Clouthier, Sr.

Robert John "Bob" Clouthier, Sr., 79, of Cypress Springs Dr., husband of Aline Richard Clouthier, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born November 15, 1934 in Worcester, MA, he was a son of the late John and Mary Kelleher Clouthier. Mr. Clouthier was a retired Korean and Vietnam War Veteran serving in the US Air Force for twenty years and retiring in 1973. Following his military service, he was a security guard, and at one time owned and operated "Bob and Aline's Superette" in Sulphur, LA. He loved reading, the Boston Red Sox, electronics and was a former VFW Post 8107 Commander. Mr. Clouthier was a proud American who was an avid collector of American Bald Eagles and American Flags.
In addition to his wife of fifty eight years, he is survived by his children, Sharron Freer of Piedmont, SC, Robert "Bobby" Clouthier, Jr. (Jamie) of Lake Charles, LA, and Pamela C. Forrester of Piedmont, SC; sister, Pearl "Peggy" Manna of Peabody, MA; his grandchildren, who affectionately called him "Pawpaw", Robyn Sadoon, Christina Daughtridge and Sean "Cody" Clouthier; great-grandchildren, Caleb Harvey and Nora Sadoon.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers and one sister.
A funeral mass will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Saint Luke Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens with military honors.
