Robert Jackson "Jack" Cook

Mr. Robert Jackson (Jack) Cook, 76, passed away at his home on February 24, 2022 from natural causes.

Born in Lanett, AL, on March 9, 1945, Jack was a son of William Bryant Cook and Mary Lou Lindsey Cook. Jack was a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, and retired from the textile and insurance industries. He was a US Army Air National Guard Veteran.

Surviving are his daughter, Amy Davis and husband Jeffrey Davis of Colorado Springs, CO; his son, Brandt Cook and wife Julie Cook of Greenville, SC;and his four granddaughters, Sumner Anne Davis, Molly Cook, Sophie Cook, and Tessa Cook; the mother of his children, Julianne Leverette Cook of Greenville, SC; and special friends through the years.

Jack was predeceased by his longtime girlfriend, Laura Black Clement; his parents; two brothers, Edwin Cook and Charles Cook; a sister, Patricia Cook Carroll; and his longtime companion, Aubie, his beloved Chihuahua.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Friday, March 4, 2022 at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. There will be no graveside service.
