Robert Everette Estes, Sr. Easley, SC

Mr. Robert Everette Estes, Sr, 78, of Easley, loving husband of Kay Stargel Estes, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

Robert was born in Greenville, SC on February 3, 1938 to the late Ben and Leila Moody Estes. He worked for Performance Group Inc. in Greenville as an engineer and in his free time he enjoyed fishing and boating, working on cars; spending time with his family; and especially good home cooked food.

In addition to his loving wife, Robert is survived by a son; Robert Estes, Jr. (Robby) of Easley; and three daughters; Mandy Cooley (Phil) of Easley; Lori Black (Tony) of Easley; and Amy Wood (James) of Pendleton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; Steven Brown, Kayla Ward (Travis), Ashley Brown (Dustin), Katie Roe (Justin), Danielle Elrod (Austin), Kristen Traber (Will), Devon Wood (Misty), Robert Estes III (Bobby), and Danny Estes; and one great-grandchild; John-Michael Wood.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 3:45 PM until 4:30 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642. A Private Entombment Service will be held in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum at Robinson Memorial Gardens. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621
