Robert Wayne Gallamore, Sr., 63, of 815 Alex Drive, died Thursday, July 20, 2006, at his home.
Born in Greenville County, a son of the late John Grover and Margaret Howard Gallamore, Mr. Gallamore was a self employed painting contractor, attended Rock Springs Baptist Church and had served with the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon Rogers Gallamore of the home; a son, Robert Wayne Gallamore, Jr., of the home; a daughter, Michele Wyant of the home; three brothers, Rev. Dr. David Gallamore of Easley, Jack Gallamore of Liberty, and Donnie Gallamore of Greenville; six sisters, Sandra Raines, Debbie Mahaffey and Florence Ballew, all of Greenville, Joan Enloe and Ann Stratton, both of Easley, and Johnnie Bennefield of Piedmont; and a grandson, Brendin Gallamore of Gray Court.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Rock Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. David Gallamore officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland West Cemetery.
The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown and will be placed in the church Sunday at Noon where the family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Rock Springs Baptist Church, 201 Rock Springs Road, Easley, SC 29640.
The family is at the residence.
