ROBERT HOLDEMAN Central

Robert Holdeman, 77, husband of Doris "Dode" Walters Holdeman died September 10, 2006 at Seneca Health and Rehab Center. He was a native of South Bend, Indiana and the son of the late Nelson Malcomb and Mildred Cornwell Holdeman. He was a retired second shift plant manager for the Kendall Co., worked for JP Stevens and was an Army/Navy Veteran. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Central.

Surviving in addition to his wife are son Robert Holdeman, Jr. and wife Ginger of Columbia, daughter Brenda Holcombe of Central, son-in-law Jerry Chandler and wife Sharon of Central, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by; daughter Debra Chandler, and sister Joan Graf.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday September 12, 2006 at 3:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-3 PM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church - New Fellowship Building, 3041 Six Mile Road, Central, SC 29630.

The family would like to thank everyone for the calls, cards, visits, and most of all the prayers for Bob during his illness.
