Robert Frank Isbell, Sr., 90, of the Powdersville Community, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Richard Campbell Veterans Home.
Born in Oakway, SC, he was the son of the late Alexander Clyde and Veda Findley Isbell. He proudly served our country in the US Army.
Robert retired from Thermo-Kinetics Industries and was a member of Siloam Baptist Church. He loved to camp and spend the day in the sun. He enjoyed sitting on the front porch, biking and walking in the park. He loved his family and will be missed by all.
Surviving are his wife of 44 years, June Bragg Isbell, his children, Robert Frank "Bob" Isbell, Jr., and his wife Judy; Michael Keith Isbell and his wife Miriam; Dianne Isbell Cooper; Deborah Lynn Trammell; Sandra Kay Herman and her husband Keith; and Douglas Wayne Isbell and his wife Linda; his stepchildren, Sheila Lanzer and her husband Steve; and Jerry Lane and his wife Joyce; his step daughter-in-law, Brenda Lane; his brother, James Isbell and his wife Rosa Lee; 9 grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 10 step great grandchildren; and 2 step great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Peggy Waddell Isbell; siblings, Ralph, Ray, Sara, Melvin and Mildred; and a stepson, Glen Lane.
Graveside services will take place Friday, February 15, 2019 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum of Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Friday afternoon one hour prior to the service at the mausoleum.
