Robert Earl Jewell

Mr. Robert Earl Jewell, 82, husband of Kay Murrell Jewell, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025.

Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Ilar Robert Jewell and the late Lois Finley Jewell, Mr. Jewell was a graduate of Liberty High School and later received his associate degree from Tri-County Technical College. He was the retired owner and operator of Jewell Electrical and was of the Baptist faith.

Robert was an honest and hard worker. He was a good friend to many and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved cattle farming, was an avid Clemson Football fan, but his greatest love was for his family and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all that loved and knew him.

Surviving, in addition to his loving wife of fifty-five years, are his son, Robert Andrew Jewell of Easley; his daughter, Elizabeth Jewell Cawley (John J. Cawley, II.) of Liberty; his grandchildren, Loren Elyssa Cawley and Samuel Robert Cawley; and a sister, Sarah Waldrop (Dennis) of Easley. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jewell was predeceased by a brother, Donald Jewell; and a sister, Betty Jones.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday, April 18, 2025 at the Jewell Family Cemetery, 110 Carmel Church Road, Liberty, SC 29657.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
