Robert "Bob" Henry Low, 72, of 107 Forest Park Drive, passed away Sunday April 24, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Low was born in Wittenberg, Wisconsin, a son of the late Jesse Edwin and Adeline Bublitz Low. In his early years he participated in boxing, softball, fishing, golfing, boating and hunting. He always enjoyed watching football, racing and boxing. He retired from in 1986 after 24 years of service as manager of manufacturing operations at International Harvester Company in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He later retired from Southeastern Sales for Benton Foundry in Benton, Pennsylvania after serving from 1987 until 2004. He was a U.S. Navy veteran where he served from 1956 until 1959.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Helen Mae Porter Low; three daughters, Terri Harris (Rickey) of Easley, SC, Colleen Brush (Tony), of Yorktown, VA and Bobbi-Ann Jebens (Scot) of Rochester, MN; grandchildren, Nicole Carnes, of Easley, SC, Becky Klietz, of Soddy Daisy, TN, Trilby and Sam Brush, of Yorktown, VA and Daphne Jebens, of Rochester, MN; 2 great-grandchildren, Megan and Robert Carnes, of Easley, SC; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM Tuesday with the funeral service immediately following in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
