Robert David Mahaffey, 67, of Easley, passed away November 16, 2017.
Born May 4, 1950 in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late JC and Daisy Mae Mahaffey. He retired from 3M after 28 years of service.
Robert loved life and never met a stranger. He was always willing to lend a hand and told everyone he loved them. His sense of humor was as large as a room and his memories will forever live in our hearts.
Surviving are his loving wife of 45 years, Vickie Goodwin Mahaffey; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Lesley Mahaffey; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Keith Bryant; three grandchildren, Grayson Parker Bryant, Morgan Karis Bryant, and Kristin Victoria Bryant; and his siblings, Richard Mahaffey, Jimmie Mahaffey, and Alice Bowers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Ernest Mahaffey and a sister, Freda Rhodes.
Private graveside services will be held Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will be at the home.
