Robert Michael "Mike" Medlin, Sr.

Robert Michael “Mike” Medlin, Sr., 61, of Easley, South Carolina passed away Saturday, July 1, 2023, at his residence with his family by his side.

Mike was born in Easley and was a 1979 graduate of Easley High School. He was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of Lenhardt Christian Fellowship. He was a loving husband, father, and son. He enjoyed fishing and traveling, but most of all he enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. To Know Mike was to love him. Even though he will be greatly missed, his many memories will live forever in the hearts of his family and friends.

Left to cherish Mike’s many memories are his loving wife of 38 years, Rita Medlin; his daughter, Megan Breanna Hopkins (TJ); his parents, Robert L and Joyce Medlin. Also left to cherish Mike’s memories are his God grandchildren Faith Edwards, Cody Stegall, and Caitlin Magnus; special nieces and nephews, Jessica, Andrew, Scott, Chad, Justin, Mitchell, Jason, Wesley, Katherine, Ryan, Greta, Holly, Nic, Luke, Tammy, and Geoffrey.  He was preceded in death by his two sons, Robert Michael Medlin, Jr., and Bradley Lawrence Medlin; also, his two sisters, Deborah Ann Raxter and Tammy Deniece Clardy.

The family will receive friends between 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Rd.  The funeral Service to honor Mike’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Robinson Funeral Home Chapel on Powdersville Rd. The burial will follow the service at Hillcrest Memorial Park cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Andrew Clardy, Scott Clardy, Chad Clardy, Bennett Simon, Cody Stegall, and Ryan Ramey. Ryan Ramey will also serve as an honorary pallbearer.
