Robert Paul Pelligrino, 57, husband of Sheryl Barlage Pelligrino, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, following an extended illness, on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.

Born in Milwaukee, WI, a son of the late John and Alice Morgenroth Pelligrino, Robert graduated Magna Cum Laude from Clemson University with a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and was last employed with Day & Zimmermann Engineering in Greenville.

Robert was an active member of Alive Wesleyan Church in Central.

Surviving, in addition to his loving wife of 34 years, are his son, Robert Paul Pelligrino, Jr., his daughters, Bethany Joy Pelligrino (Adam Jones) and Lydia Hope Pelligrino; his grandson, Gray Paul Jones; his brother, John Pelligrino (Marlene); his sister, Diane Pelligrino (Von Berrier); his sister-in-law, Yftu Pelligrino; and several nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dale Pelligrino.

Funeral services will be 3:00pm Saturday at Alive Wesleyan Church, 136 Chastain Rd, Central, SC 29630. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens in Easley.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 1:30pm until 2:45pm at the church.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the love and care provided by Hey-Cha Belcher, Terri Stribling, Agape Hospice, Pickens County Meals on Wheels, as well as the members of Alive Wesleyan Church for the many meals, countless prayers, and loving support throughout the years.
