Robert Lindsey Perry, 91, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014, at Presbyterian Community in Lexington, SC.

Mr. Perry was born in Columbus, GA, a son of the late Thomas Charles and Marion Bickerstaff Perry, and husband of the late Margaret Stiles Perry.

He graduated from Clemson University with a masters degree in mechanical engineering and was an associate professor at Clemson University, a member of the Pickens - Oconee Gem and Mineral Society, an Army veteran of WW II, and a member of Fort Hill Presbyterian Church, Clemson.

Surviving are three daughters, Margaret Lombardi, of Columbia, Ellen Klatt, of Woodbridge, VA, and Kate Perry-Johnson, of Atlanta, GA; one sister, Ellen Clark, of Charleston; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents he was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Charles Perry, Jr. and a sister, Ann McDougald.

Memorial services will be at 2:30 PM, Friday, March 7, 2014 at Fort Hill Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
