Robert (Bob) Phoenix, Jr., 70, of Blue Bird Ln., husband of the late Janet Merola Phoenix, passed away Friday, December 20, 2013 at Countryside Village.
Born June 11, 1943 in Springfield, MA, he was a son of the late Robert and Clarice Vaughn Phoenix. Mr. Phoenix graduated from Limestone College and was a retired plant manager with Hollingsworth for twelve years. He was a Mason with the Indian Orchard Masonic Lodge in Indian Orchard, MA. Mr. Phoenix loved hunting and was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Mr. Phoenix is survived by his children, Robert Phoenix, III, (Patti) Steven Phoenix (Angie) and Deborah Simmons (Mark); brothers, Howard Phoenix and Kenneth Phoenix; sisters, Joann Hennessey, Janet Collina and Teresa Twinging; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 28, 2013 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
