Coach Robert (Bob) Alan Pollock, 60, of Forest Hill Drive, died Saturday, February 20, 2010 in Lexington, KY.
Born in Rochester, NY a son of the late James Robert and Elsie Wilkinson Pollock, he was a Collegiate Track Coach, a graduate of The Citadel, received his graduate degree from University of Georgia, a former Captain in the US Air Force and a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church, Seneca, SC.
Surviving are his wife, Debbie Moore Haydon of Lexington, KY; a son, John Pollock of St. Simons Island, GA; two daughters, Kristen Pollock (J.T.) Thomas, Loris, SC and Kathryn Pollock of Charleston, SC; a brother, Jeff Pollock of Pittsford, NY; and a brand new grandson, Thurman.
Funeral services will be 10 AM, Friday at St. Mark United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Clemson.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Thursday at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Road, Central, SC.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
