Robert Lewis "Bob" Seay, Sr., 75, of 265-S Crosswell Drive, died Thursday, March 15, 2007, at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.
Born in Henrietta, NC, a son of the late Lewis Seay and the late Annie Mae Fowler Seay Wilson, Mr. Seay was a musician having played the fiddle for several famous musical groups in Nashville. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of Crosswell First Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Floy Spearman Seay of the home; two sons, Robert Seay, Jr., and Johnny Seay, both of Greenville; five grandchildren, Robert Seay, III, Ryan Seay, Gavin Seay, Brittany Seay and John Lewis Seay; and a great-grandson, Robert Lewis Seay, IV. In addition to his parents, Mr. Seay was predeceased by a sister, Betty Wyatt and by his step-father, Johnny F. Wilson.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Crosswell First Baptist Church with Rev. Calvin Bryant and Rev. Fred Pittman officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road, Easley.
