Robert D. Tanner

Robert D. Tanner, 87, husband of the late Earlene Merritt Tanner, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018.
Born in Greenville, a son to the late Ben G. Tanner and the late Frances Caddell Tanner, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Patrise Lee and her husband, Sherman of Greenville; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ben Tanner of Greenville..
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Tanner was predeceased by a sister, Betty Allen.
Private services were held at Robinson Memorial Gardens Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum.
