Roberta K. Roberts, of Newnan, GA, 76, passed away March 22, 2014 following an extended illness. She was born on April 11, 1937 in Greenville, SC to Dr. Jesse Walton and Marjorie Nelmes Kitchin of Liberty, SC.
Surviving are a son, Walton (Janice) Roberts of Greenville, a daughter, Midge Roberts and granddaughter, the light of her life, Jessica Hooper of Newnan, GA, a sister, Harriet K. Giles, a nephew, Scott Giles (Angel) and sons, all of Easley, four cousins, Rick Nelmes and family of Pickens, Mike Shoemaker, Midge Yergen, Susie Magana and families of Washington State and a Godson, Hunter Wyatt of Liberty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Cynthia S. and Linda K. Kitchin.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 26, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice Foundation, 2525 Hwy 34 East, Newnan, GA 30265.
