Rodger Ferguson Hinton, 57, formerly of 520 Hampton Avenue, and Charlotte, N.C., died Friday, July 21, 2006, at Hospice House of the Upstate.
Born in Pickens, Mr. Hinton was a son of Calhoun Newton Hinton and the late Jean Rodger Hinton. He was a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in architecture, and he received his Master's degree in architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Hinton was a Senior Associate of Architecture with LS3P Associates in Charlotte, N.C. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Surviving is his father, Calhoun Newton Hinton of Pickens.
Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley, is assisting the family with arrangements.
