Mr. Roger Dale Reid, 55, husband of Juanita Elrod Reid, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012 at his home.
Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Fred and Helen Garrett Reid, Mr. Reid retired from Ryobi and attended Wayside Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of thirty-eight years, are one son, Brian Reid (Tina) of Pickens; one daughter, Michele Henry of Pickens; one brother, Ronald Reid of Six Mile; two sisters; Martha Brown and Marilyn Miller, both of Pickens; four grandsons, Cody Henry, Cole Henry, Tyler Reid and Timothy Reid; and Wesley Reid who was like a son.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2012 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
