Roger Dale Taylor Sr

Roger Dale Taylor Sr.,76, husband of the late Carolyn Ann Taylor, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

Born on August 14, 1948, in Anderson County, South Carolina, he was a son of the late John David Taylor and Violet Juanita Morgan Taylor.

Roger was a hard worker who dedicated himself to his work. He loved his horses, but most of all he cherished the moments he would spend with his family, and especially his grandchildren.

Roger is survived by his daughter, Carrie Coleman, and her husband Darrell of Piedmont; his grandchildren, Jared Stacy (Micah), Morgan Stacy, Garrett Coleman, Amanda Taylor, and Hannah Taylor; his great-grandchildren, Liam and Brynleigh; his brother, David Taylor; and his nieces, Lisa Posey and Tammy White.

In addition to his beloved wife, Carolyn Ann Taylor, and his parents; he was preceded in death by his son, Roger Dale Taylor Jr., who passed away in 2007; and his sister, Cathy Scott.

A visitation will be held Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Duckett - Robinson Funeral Home, located at 108 Cross Creek Road, Central, SC 29630.

A graveside service will follow on the same day at Memory Gardens Cemetery, starting at 3:00 PM. The cemetery is located at 586 Issaqueena Trail, Central, SC 29630.
