Ronald Lee "Ron" Chastain, 70, husband of Margaret Nunns Chastain, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.
Mr. Chastain was born in Pickens County and was a son of the late, Barney Lee and Rosa Lee Peak Chastain. He was owner of a textile machinery repair company and was a member of Bishop Branch Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are sons, Todd Chastain of Charleston, SC, David Hunter and his wife Matilde of Gray Court and Steve Hunter and his wife Dawn of Due West; eight grandchildren and one great grandson.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Bishop Branch Baptist Church.
The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Heart Fund, 14 E. 60th Street, Suite 501, New York, NY 10022.
