Ronald "Ron" Lee Davis, 64, of 1703 Old Pendleton Road and husband of Faye Lay Davis, passed away Friday September 6, 2013 at his home.
Mr. Davis was born in Piedmont, SC, the son of the late Martha Smith Davis. He was the owner and operator of Best Machinery Movers and Erectors, Inc., an avid golfer and a Shriner. He was a member of Conestee Church of God of Prophecy.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Gerald Davis, of Greenville and Toby Davis, of Powdersville; three daughters, Joy Davis, of Maine, Renee Davis, of Vance, SC and Michelle Taylor, of Easley; a brother, Larry Davis, of Harleyville, SC; a sister, Barbara Martin, of Lyman; grandchildren, Brandon Taylor, Devin Taylor, Brianna Taylor, chris Davis, Tiffany Davis and Jonathan Wall.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Davis.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, Easley. Entombment will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM Sunday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
