Ronald Flowers

Ronald Nelms Flowers, 82, husband of Christine Little Flowers, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022.

Raised in Kilbourne, LA, a son of the late Fred N. Flowers and the late Erna Beatrice Howell Flowers, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who collected coins and enjoyed his retirement years, especially the time spent with his family. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air force, retiring in 1982 at the rank of Major. He was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Jason R. Flowers (Rebecca) of Yorktown, VA; a daughter, Sarah Flowers Bergman (Brian) of Piedmont, SC; a brother, Fred L. Flowers (Lois) of Houston, TX; and grandchildren, Bryce Flowers, Hannah Bergman, and Lauren Flowers. 

He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Gwen Melton.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2022 at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veteran's Cemetery in Anderson.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2022 at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
