Ronald Lewis (Wendy) Franks Sr., 61, of 120 Roper Street, died Tuesday, July 08, 2008, at Hospice House of Anderson.

He was born in Pickens County, the son of the late James and Agnes Sanders Franks. He was a graduate of Liberty High School, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam. He was an auto body repairman at Pratt's Body Shop.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Long Franks; two sons, Ronald L. Franks, Jr. of Norris and David Franks of Liberty, two brothers, Mike and Russell Franks, both of Liberty; four sisters, Mary Evett, Judy McCall, Kathy Johnson and June Marcus, all of Easley; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held 5:00 pm Thursday, July 10, 2008, at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, officiated by Rev. Carl Neal. Inurnment will be at a later date at the M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Belton.

The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown prior to the service from 3:30 pm until 5:00 pm.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, S.C. 29621.
