Ronald Thomas Garrett, 76, husband of Johnnie Haney Garrett, died Saturday, December 11, 2010 at his residence. Born in Greenville he was the son of the late Ivan and Olivia Brewer Garrett. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his wife he is survived by daughter, Sharon Garrett of the home, brothers, Wallace Garrett of Pendleton, Buddy Garrett of Ware Shoals, Roger Garrett of Belton, Wayne Garrett of Honea Path and Terry Garrett of Liberty and sisters, Lula Belle Ladd of Pendleton and Joan Garrett of Anderson. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by daughter Donna Ann Garrett and brothers, Jacky and Kenneth Garrett.
Memorial services will be 12 noon Monday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home in Central. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6-8pm.
