Ronald Charles Greenlee, 84, husband of Nora Lee Sutherland Greenlee, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022.

Born in Columbus, OH, a son of the late Gilmer Greenlee and the late Virginia Blakely Greenlee, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed woodworking, tinkering on his old 1965 Chevrolet truck, working in the yard, and spending time with his family. Ron loved telling jokes and stories of his youth. He also loved watching westerns and war movies, especially starring John Wayne. Ron worked in Fabrication and Quality Assurance at Jeffrey Dresser Manufacturing in Greenville for twenty five years. He was also the owner and operator of Greenlee Installation, serving the medical and nursing home industries. Ron proudly served his country in the US Army during the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Berlin Crisis. He was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church in Greer.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of sixty-five years, are sons, Ronald Greenlee, Jr. ((Lara) and Robert Greenlee (Melinda); a daughter, Melody Thompson (Kevin); a brother, Don Greenlee; a sister, Beverly Brockman (Chuck); grandchildren, Stephen Greenlee, Ian Thompson, Abby Cook (Jordan), Taylor Thompson (Johnathon); Cole Greenlee, Will Hagan, and Gabe Greenlee; a great-granddaughter, Nora Capri Thompson; and a large number of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends that will truly miss him.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Mary Greenlee.

The family will host a memorial service at a later date.
