Ronald Edward Kerr, 70, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Saint Francis Hospital.

Born in Greenville, he was son to the late Wallace Edward Kerr and Mrs. Lillie Evans Kerr Parris.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a son, Kevin Kerr of Greer; sisters, Donna Grant and husband, Tommy of Williamston and Brenda Kerr of Taylors; a grandson, Hale Williams Kerr; nieces, Debbie Grant Howell and Kristie Grant Chappell; and nephews, Tommy Grant and Donnie Johnson.

Mr. Kerr was a sheet metal mechanic for many years who enjoyed coin collecting, Nascar racing, and various other sports. He was of the Baptist faith and loved his family. He was known for his caring nature and helping his neighbors when they needed him.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at The Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Greenville.
