Ronie Boone Martin, 97, of Central died Tuesday, January 8, 2013 in Seneca, SC.
Born in Seagrove, NC she was a daughter of the late J. A. and Zellar Brower Boone. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Central.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Clyde V. Martin.
Surviving are two sons, Jimmie L. Martin (Mary) of Baton Rouge, LA and C. Jerry Martin of Central; 3 sisters, Margie Sink, Jacksie Poe, Conie McNeill; and 1 brother, Alvie Boone all of Asheboro, North Carolina; 6 grandchildren, Allen Martin (Missie), Jonathan Martin, Joel Martin (Carmen), Angie Morris (Bill), Mac Martin, Dan Martin; 6 great-grandchildren whom reside in various southern states; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 3 PM, Friday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central with burial to follow in Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM, Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
