Ronnie Jo Bottoms, 74, husband of Sue Holmes Bottoms passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Ron was born in Waldron, Arkansas, a son of the late John and Elsie Hines Bottoms. He was a 1964 graduate of Greenwood High School in Greenwood, Arkansas. After high school he became a union painter and paper hanger working all over the country. When he moved to MA, he started his own business that he ran for years. He then worked for many years in security for National Grid, before retiring to Liberty, SC. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, enjoyed fishing, horseshoes and traveling. He was very out going and seemed bigger than life. He loved to joke around but had a big heart. He loved animals and was a friend to all.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Ronda Wilkins and husband, Ed of Austin, TX; son, John Bottoms of Texas; brothers, Bobby Bottoms and Larry Moore; sisters, Sue Brown and Wanda Bobo; step-daughters, Denise Bartlett and husband, Scott and Heather Musorofiti and husband, Chris; grandchildren, John, Zack, Jakob, Trixie, Jaclyn, Sarah, Gabby, Cooper and Anna; and great grandchildren, Braelynn and Aaliyah.
In addition to his parents, Ron was predeceased by grandson, Nick Cremins; brothers,
Stanley and Arthur Bottoms; sister, Shirley Haga; nephews, Alan Bottoms and Eddy Haga; and niece, Lisa Haga.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and with an abundance of caution, the family has chosen to have no service at this time.
